Merry Meet and Welcome to Deity My Deity Within.

This site is dedicated to those of us who would like to explore our feminine and/or masculine spirituality. As women and men, we should not have to deny our feminine or masculine sides of how we feel when we pray, worship, and explore our spiritual self. We must take into account that the holy books for the major religions where interpreted by the male component of spirituality, and though I am not saying the holy books are not valid, but, for some of us, they have sorely left out the feminine aspect of worship and spiritual fulfillment.

There are many ways to worship, the major religions including Buddhism and Hinduism, paganism (the original meaning referred to those of the country, such as peasants and farmers who depended on mother nature and mother earth for life, sustenance and spiritual fulfillment), Wicca (which is an exploration of self, self growth, continual learning and becoming the most that you can be).

There is no place for evil and devil/satan worship here. Our Beliefs do not include or believe in a satanic being. We believe in treating others as we would want to be treated, and having free will as long as none are harmed, including ourselves.

I did have a working forum, but I replaced it with a blog page which seems a better place to blog and comment and have discussions. The link is in the left hand menu. It is a work in progress, as I only installed it recently.

A bit about myself. At the age of 57, I have finally realize who I am. I have always loved the planetary, and cosmic sciences which explains a lot. I find that I am my Goddess Within. Now I feel that I can work on who I really am, and explore my spirituality. The searching of self is done and now the learning can begin!
